Have you been applying to jobs online for months without landing any interviews?

It’s not you. It’s the process that’s all wrong.

Today, it’s practically impossible to land a job online due to increased competition, the proliferation of questionable recruiting software and opaque, and often, highly biased, hiring processes.

Why is it so hard to land a job online?

Applying to jobs online is now mainstream.

According to Glassdoor, the average number of applications for a job at a publicly traded company is about 250; the average number of people interviewed is five. That’s a 12.5% chance of getting the opportunity to even speak with someone.

If you’re applying to remote jobs, your odds worsen.

FACT: While only 16% of LinkedIn job listings are for remote work, they receive two and a half times as many applications.

Above-and-beyond is the new bare minimum.
